I love this Blonde Redhead album -- Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons. It's been on heavy rotation in The Duke (my big black truck) for about a week now. I don't know how they do it. The 4th song evokes a certain pain/beauty that I haven't felt in a long time. I want it oh I want it oh I want it for my own... The whole thing is just so damn good. The handclaps are just so tasteful and cool and her voice is just the perfect amount of squeak and silk, bubble and scrape... I'd go and find the names of the songs, blah blah blah, but I'm too lazy. Anyway, I have to go learn lyrics for my friend Frank's 80's cover band. I'm so excited to sing "Crash." "Here you go, way too fast, don't slow down you're gonna crash..." etc.
